Purchasing has the role of providing materials for production purposes. Purchasing handles the buying process, manages all goods to meet production requirements, daily administrative activities related to purchases (Purchase Order & Purchase Request), closely coressponds with vendors, and data reporting.
The Role:
- Knowing-understanding, determining components/parts, machinery and supply needed, cost effectively in operational
- Identify, choose appropriate, potential suppliers to purchase from, by comparing their price/cost, quality, delivery and services
- Negotiation, in terms of price-quality/specifications and lead time of delivery
- Evaluate suppliers based on Price, quality of products, delivery and services
- Maintain Suppliers, gain some new latest information of technology and continuous quality improvements
- Review-Monitor all of the purchased items in terms of cost, quality, and stock, need to be updated in weekly/monthly report
- Maintain and update info records of purchased item specifications, delivery information, etc on the system (SAP)
Requirement:
- Bachelor Degree (S1) – Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical or Industrial or Mechatronics), with minimum GPA 3.00 from Reputable Universities
- Fresh Graduate or Maximum 2 years Working Experience as Staff Purchasing Staff
- Experienced with Excel, Power Point, and SAP
- Fluent in English (oral and written) is a MUST, and/or Fluent in mandarin is preferred
- Good Communication, strong negotiation, time management, and analytic skill
- Willing to learn, work under-presssure, proactive, and able to work well individually or in a team
- Working hours: Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 17:00
